Obituary for Doris Paris (Lowe)

Doris L. Paris, 77, of Axtell, Texas passed away Monday, July 11, 2016. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Friday, July 15, 2016 at Oakwood Cemetery, with Pastor Jeromy Connell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, July 14, 2016 6:00 to 8:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Mrs. Paris was born November, 15, 1938, in Waco, Texas, to J. D. and Leola (Hamilton) Lowe. She attended local schools and as a child learned to sew. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother. Doris met and married the love of her life Robert Paris, a marriage that has lasted 55 years. In her later years Doris enjoyed sewing and watching her game shows.

Mrs. Paris was preceded in death by her parents, sons, Willie Batchelor and Danny Floyd Batchelor.

She is survived by her loving husband, daughters; Annette Musgrove and husband Edward, Melissa Saulter and husband Ray, and step-daughters, Roberta Mathis and husband Kent all of Axtell, Texas, and Carolyn Potts and husband Thomas of Mart; Sons, Jerrell Shaver and wife Pam of Mart, Texas and Steve Batchelor of Lampasas and Gary Batchelor; sisters, Frances Williams, brothers, James Hamilton and wife Doris and Cecil Hamilton and wife Kay; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Paris will be dearly missed by family and friends.
