Margaret Lucille "Connie"  Meek
Margaret Lucille “Connie” Weaver Meek, 76, of Georgetown, formerly of Waco, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2016. The funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 22, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco with burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th St., Waco.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 21, at the funeral home.
Margaret was born October 28, 1939 in Rosebud, Texas to parents, Rufus Vernon Weaver and Flossie Maxwell Weaver. She graduated from Rosebud High School in 1957. On May 4, 1962, she married the love of her life, Ronald Gilbert “Todd” Meek at Chalk Bluff Baptist Church. They lived in Denton for many years and raised their family there. For the last four years Margaret had been a resident of Georgetown. She was a devout Christian and homemaker who loved her family with all her heart. She was a member of Western Heights Baptist Church in Waco and loved her Agape Sunday school class.

Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years, Ronald Gilbert “Todd” Meek; her parents and grandparents.
Margaret’s greatest joy was her family. She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons and their wives, Kenneth and Tracy Meek, of Georgetown, and Michael and Michelle Meek, of Flower Mound; grandchildren, Meagan Meek and Kasey Meek, of Belton, and Ian Dietz of Flower Mound; sister, Barbara Szanto; sister-in-law, Vicki Meek; and special friends, Jessica Henderson and Taylor Oden.

Pallbearers will be Ian Dietz, Kevin Meek, Rick Meek, Patrick Meek, Dean Blasingame, and Taylor Oden.
Her desire was that remembrance gifts be made to Western Heights Baptist Church, 6301 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas 76710.

“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Rev. 21:4
