James Holt Charlett, 73, of Woodway, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Waco First Assembly of God Church.

Holt was a well-respected Navy veteran and Harley mechanic.

He was very passionate about racing and happiest when in the wind. He did so much to help others, oftentimes paying for things himself to get them back on two wheels. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

Holt is survived by his only son, David Charlett, of Woodway.
