Condolence: I just came across John's obituary today and am saddened to learn of his passing. John roomed next door to me his freshman year at Anderson College. We became good friends. I had the pleasure of driving him home in Huntsville, Ohio not far from my home outside of Wapakoneta for a break in 1974. He was anxious to visit with his family. His nickname was "Man Mountain". That nickname fit him well!

Condolence: I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing! From the first time I met John, I knew he was a good man! Every time I saw him at ASTE, SITE or SSMA he had a smile on his face! He was a great teacher, a great mentor, a great colleague. I'm so glad that I saw him in March at SITE in Las Vegas...He was taken far too soon...
