Mara & Family:
Thinking back of the memories shared with Jeff, there are so many. Our family, my mom and dad, and my sisters all knew Jeff back in the day. He was always sweet and kind to all of us and will be missed dearly. Before Dad passed away, Jeff would stop and visit with my parents, and they would just chat and talk away hours, but my parents never minded and enjoyed their time with Jeff. My dad would ask him if his name was Jeff? Or was it Chef? Which always got a chuckle out of Jeff. After a while, everyone just kinda called Jeff, Chef, and he would kindly remember my dad, too. There were many parties and get togethers that we shared, with good times and memories.
The last encounter with Jeff; and I think you were there, too, was when we (my husband & I) all seen each other at the Dairy Queen and you all came in and the only thing Jeff could think of to say to me was that I was looking oooold! I wanted to strangle Jeff for continally repeating that, but I didn't and now, will not get a chance to, not that I really wanted to or would. Now, it's just another memory that he had in all of our lives. He touched each of us, happy times and we all are with you, in thoughts and in prayers. May you and the children be Blessed with God's Love and know that God does love you all. Remember that when you are feeling down, just look up, and know that God is with you.
In Loving Memory,
Sergio & Delia (Anzures) Zapata
