Wilma Saffell

Wilma L. (Moore) Saffell, 88, of Waco went home with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 13, 2003.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at the Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Wilma was born November 30, 1914 in Waco to Luther and Alice (Purnell) Moore. She graduated from the original Waco High School. She married Randle S. Saffell, Sr. of Morgan, Texas on September 7, 1940 at Edge Field Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and retired LVN. She was preceded in death by her Parents and brother, A.L. Moore.

Those left to remember her smiles and laughter are her husband Randle and Daughter Melinda Saffell of Waco, her son Randle (Randy) Saffell Jr. of Port Aransas, her grandson Fletcher Saffell and his wife Diane of Newport News, VA., her nephew A.L. (Buddy) Moore and wife Shirley of Waco, several cousins, and her many loving and caring friends.
