Vickie Jean Turley

Vickie Turley, 70, of Waco, passed away on September 4, 2025 surrounded by family after a long battle with her health. There will be a lakeside celebration of life memorial after cremation, date to be decided.

Vickie was born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma on July 24, 1955 to Eddie and Wanda. After graduating high school, Vickie went on to become a beautician, she loved to make people look and feel better.

Came to be known to all her kids and grandkids as “gmv”, she was always willing to help a child in need whether they were hers by blood or not, she loved all of her kids more than anything else.

Vickie was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend to many, was always smiling and laughing and could always brighten someone’s mood no matter the situation. She will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Wanda and Eddie Turley and her sister, Gloria Turley.

Survivors include her sisters, Lois Turley and Sonya Turley Chase; son, Jeremy Turley; and grandchildren, Jareth Turley, Dawson Turley, Erial Turley, and Anna Turley.

Vickie will be cremated by OakCrest Funeral Home, and her ashes will be spread in some of the places she loved most.
