Veronica Salinas Lozano, 38, of Waco, TX, was called home by her heavenly Father and Savior on May 27, 2025.
Veronica was born July 5, 1986 in Waco, TX to Jesus S. Salinas, Jr. and Amelia F. Salinas. She graduated at the age of 16 from A.J. Moore Academy. Veronica was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a huge Texas Longhorn and Dallas Cowboys fan. She lived by the motto, “No worries”. Veronica enjoyed family gatherings and vacations. She had a beautiful smile and laugh that lit up the room. She was and will always remain daddy’s “Baby Girl”.
Veronica is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny E. Salinas; grandfather, Jesus Salinas, Sr.; grandmother, Sofia Juarez Fernandez; and aunt, Yvonne Salinas.
Survivors include her husband, Joel V. Lozano; children, Mariah D. Salinas and fiancé, Anthony Le, Joel Prince Lozano; parents, Amelia and Jesus Salinas; brothers, Steven and wife, Andrea Salinas, and Daniel Salinas and partner, Marley Adair; nieces, Brianna and Ameliana Salinas; nephews, Johnny and wife, Mariam, Micheal and Drayston Salinas; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends as well as her furr baby Honey (A.K.A Fea) that will cherish her memory always.
The Salinas family are very grateful to family and friends who have reached out with comfort and prayers. They want to also thank the staff and nurses at Baylor Scott and White Hillcrest Hospital for the above and beyond services they provided in caring for Veronica.
