Teena will be laid to rest where her beautiful Mom, Mari Dominguez, lies in rest. Teena fondly spoke of her Mom for the past 31 years with tears in her eyes, and we know their Mother-Daughter reunion in heaven has been glorious and joyful.
Teena was born May 13, 1964, in Port Lavaca, Texas, to her beloved parents, Manuel and Mari Dominguez. Teena grew up in China Spring, along with her brother, Michael Dominguez, whom Teena dearly loved. Mike has been Teena’s best friend for life, and she greatly appreciated how Mike has cared for their Dad, Manuel Dominguez, during his time of sickness. Teena graduated from China Spring High School in 1982, and then she married the love of her life, Eddie Jimenez, in 1988. Throughout their 37 years of marriage, Teena has devoted her life to being a loving wife and to raising, caring for, and blessing their three children and grandbaby.
For the last 18 years, Teena has been a part of the Neighborly Family, formerly known as the Dwyer Group, in various positions, with her most recent role as the Executive Assistant to the Mr. Appliance Team. Teena’s work has been incredibly valuable, and she will be dearly missed by co-workers.
Teena was a wise, beautiful, passionate, kind and caring, strong-willed, and fun-loving wife, mom, and friend. Teena leaves us with a beautiful legacy of hope, faith, and love which she fully embraced and embodied for 61 years.
Teena had great joy by being closely involved and supportive of her children in all their endeavors, including their numerous school activities. She was the BEST Mom. Teena also enjoyed going on fun trips with her best friend Dina, reading mystery novels, Dallas Cowboys Football, dancing, music of multiple genres, and she especially loved how her sweet husband could make her laugh. Teena absolutely adored spending time with her precious grandbaby by going on trips to the Zoo with him and by spending time with her family and friends. Teena left her loved ones all too soon, and she will be deeply missed. However, she leaves them with wonderful memories of her all-consuming love and beautiful smile that will be cherished forever by her family and friends.
Teena is preceded in death by her Mom, Mari Dominguez; Mother-in-law, Lola Ramirez Jimenez and Father-in-law Joaquin T. Jimenez; her grandparents, Grandpa Julian Dominguez and Grandma Valentina Dominguez; Grandfather Graciano Balderas and Grandmother Lucinda Mayorga-Balderas; her Uncle Angel Balderas; her Aunts: Linda Canada, Amanda Benevides, Mary Lopez, and Joann Bazan.
Survivors include her loving husband, Eddie Jimenez; their three beloved children, Jordan, Adriana, Marissa, and one precious grandbaby, Braecyn. Teena is also survived by her Dad, Manuel Dominguez; brother, Michael Dominguez and nephew Jarred Dominguez; her best friend Dina Dwyer-Owens, and many other loved ones, cherished family members, and friends.
Honorary pallbearers include her son, Jordan; brother, Michael; Uncles: Charlie, John, and Alex; cousin Dave; and brother-in-law, Robert.
The family would like to express their thankfulness and heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has reached out to them, for supporting them during their unimaginable grief, and to those who have shared a memory of their cherished Teena during their unexpected loss.
