Susan Bazan Hernandez

Susan Hernandez, 81, passed away on May 5, 2026 at her home in Wilson, Texas. She was the widower of Joe R. Hernandez. They shared 44 years of marriage together.

She was born in Sebastian, Texas on November 12, 1944. Susan was the daughter of Aguedo Bazan, Jr. and Antonia Rios. She was a wonderful homemaker. She loved her Lord, her family, and her plants.

Susan is survived by her children, Irene Campos, Adolph Hernandez, Virgina Bustillos, Gloria Hernandez, Joe Hernandez, Jessica Hernandez, and Jacob Hernandez, as well as 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Joe R. Hernandez; her son, Philip Hernandez; and her daughter, Margret Hernandez. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of San Juan Catholic Church in Moody, Texas on May 8, 2026 at 11:00 am, the burial will take place at the Moody Cemetery directly following the Mass. Visitation will be held at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas on May 7, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 pm with the Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.
