Stacia (Stacy) Daniels passed away on February 8th at Providence Hospital after a brief illness.
Officiating will be (Chip) George Hill Bounds, III. Services will be on February 23rd in Waco, TX at OakCrest Funeral Home. Viewing will be from 9-10am. Funeral Service will begin at 10am. Graveside services will be at 12:30pm at Fort Parker Cemetery in Grosbeck, TX. Meeting for dinner afterwards at The Ole Gin in Wortham, TX.
Stacia was born in Wortham, TX. She was the youngest of four children: George Hill Bounds Jr., Lee Lavaughn Bounds, and LaSonda Varnnum nee Bounds, all born to George Hill Bounds, Sr. and Ruby Virginia Lee Johnson.
Stacia married Darwin L. Daniels in 1960 in Sierra Blanca, TX. While they lived in El Paso, TX they had three children: Jeffrey Lee Daniels, Shandra Dione Keas nee Daniels, and Tobin Shawn Daniels, Sr. They were married for 15 years. Stacia and her two surviving children, Shandra and Tobin, moved to Waco, TX following the divorce.
Stacia attended nursing school at McLennan Community College and obtained her L.V.N license in 1987. She worked at various retirement homes in the Waco area. She retired in 2017 from Providence Ascension Living in 2017.
She was preceded in death by Jeffrey Lee Daniels, Lee Lavaughn Bounds, George Hill Bounds, Sr., Ruby Virginia Lee Bounds nee Johnson, Darwin L. Daniels, and George Hill Bounds, Jr. and his wife, Winda N. Bounds.
She is survived by her daughter, Shandra Dione Keas nee Daniels and her husband, Jeffery D. Keas; her son, Tobin Shawn Daniels, Sr. and his wife, Joni Daniels; her granddaughters, Samantha Holford nee Daniels, Clarisa R. Keas, Tabitha S. Daniels, Sabrina Daniels, and Jessica Keas; her grandsons, Zachary Hill Keas, Tobin S. Daniels, II., Jon Keas, and Jacob Keas; her sister, LaSonda Varnnum nee Bounds; as well eight great granddaughters, six great grandsons, two nieces, two nephews, a nephew-in-law, and three nieces-in-law.
Pallbearers will be Tobin S. Daniels, Sr., Tirey Varnnum, Tobin S. Daniels, II., Russell (Rusty) Holford, Christian (Chris) Smith, and Richard Quinones, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers are (Chip) George Hill Bounds, III., David Bounds, and Zachary Hill Keas.
Flowers may be sent to OakCrest Funeral Home, or in lieu of flowers donations made be made to the Cajun Navy.
