Life & Legacy
Born on February 5, 1955, in Waco, Texas to Sam Erlanson and Sue Tadlock, Sammy attended both University and Axtell High Schools, and went on to build a dedicated career in the construction industry.
On April 16, 1977, Sammy married LaTonne Millican, and they had five children together. Sammy was an avid outdoorsman with a deep passion for hunting and fishing. No matter the season, he made sure never to miss opening day. When he wasn’t outdoors, he enjoyed kicking back to classic country music from Willie, Waylon, Kris, and George Strait. A true fan of traditional westerns, Sammy loved anything starring Clint Eastwood, though his all-time favorite movie remained Jeremiah Johnson.
