Samantha Rene Allan Ramirez, age 47, of Hewitt, Texas, went to be with the Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 15, 2026 at her home. Samantha was born on August 7, 1978 in Waco, Texas to William Peter Allan and Ortencia Coronado.
Visitation is from 6:00-8:00 PM at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas with a Rosary recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, January 23, 2026 at St. Francis on the Brazos Catholic Church in Waco, Texas, officiated by Rev. Juan Jose Rios Cardoso, with burial at Oakwood Cemetery following.
Samantha attended Midway schools and graduated from Midway High School in 1996. She later went on to Glendale Community College in Glendale, California and El Camino College in Torrance, California.
Samantha worked as a Business Analyst for Southern California Edison in Rosemead, California for 18 years.
Samantha was a wonderful mother and loving child. She enjoyed spending time watching movies and playing board games with her sons. She was an avid reader of novels. She enjoyed playing Pokémon and attending concerts. She loved anything retro style from the 1950’s and 1960’s.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Peter Allan.
Samantha is survived by her sons, William Brock Allan-Boswell, Robert Michael Boswell, and Jacob Richard Ramirez; mother, Ortencia Coronado Romero and husband, Johnny Romero, Jr.; brother, Edilberto Sabido; sister, Dawn Allan Coleman and husband, Kenny Coleman; and stepfather, Eddy Sabido and wife, Maribel Farfan. She also leaves behind many uncles and aunts, close friends, and a host of cousins.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her best friend since kindergarten and caregiver, Jennifer Olvera Powers and dear friend, Melissa Lujan.
Pallbearers are Rocky Coronado, Sergio Ramirez, Brady Sabido, Alfonso Sabido, Sr., Alfonso (Mito) Sabido, Jr., and Erwin Farfan.
