Ruben Morales

Ruben Morales (Pop) passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Ruben was born on July 18, 1955 in Waco, Texas to Raymundo and Maria Morales. He served in the Navy and was honorably discharged due to injury and health issues. Ruben loved to draw, paint, and play music with his guitar. Everyone that knew him, knew him as “Heavy” but my brother and I knew him as “Pop”.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Lillie Becerra, Gloria Morales, and Richard Morales.

He is survived by his sons, Anthony Morales and Randy Serry; three grandchildren, Christopher Morales, Malina Morales, and Desiree Diaz; two great grandchildren; sisters, Sally Compian and Ninfa Garcia and her husband Edward; brothers, Rudy Morales, Raymond Morales, Robert Morales, and Roy Morales and his wife Connie; as well as a wonderfully large number of other family members.
