Rose Marie Gonzales, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, at the age of 71. She was born on November 18, 1953, to Apolinar (Paul) and Rosa (Rosie) Galindo and was a proud graduate of University High School. Though formally known as Rose, she was most affectionately called Marie by her family and Rosie by her friends.
Marie and Tony Gonzales were married on July 2, 1973, a partnership that spanned 52 devoted years. Their enduring love and companionship were an inspiration to all who knew them. She will be remembered for her lively spirit and engaging conversation, as well as her profound dedication to her family. She lovingly cared for her daughter, Rachael, for 35 years, a devotion that is believed to have helped extend Rachael's overall health and life from a rare heart disease. She had a rare gift for connecting with people, and her strong convictions made every discussion memorable. She also found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, and her frequent deliveries from QVC were a happy habit that brought a smile to everyone's face.
Marie is survived by her loving husband, Tony; daughter, Felicia Lynn Gonzales and her fiancé, Jose Villanueva, III.; and cherished granddaughter, Valentina Katlyn Ramos. She is also survived by her sisters, Paula Abalos, Teresa Lopez and her husband Frank Lopez, Regina Dickerson and her husband Jerry Dickerson; and brother, Paul Galindo and his wife Hilda Galindo. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Rachael Marie Gonzales and her parents.
