Rosario Arrollo

Rosario Avendaño Cruz Arrollo, 91, of Waco, TX, passed away on January 31, 2024 after a valiant battle with stomach cancer. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Rosario was born on October 7, 1932 to Martina and Jose Avendaño in Oaxaca, Mexico. She moved to the United States in 1958 and later became a citizen.

Rosario is survived by her loving children, Hector (Annette) Gomez, Grace (Rogelio) Areñas, Carolina (Tom) Karn, Jose (Francisca) Arrollo, Jr. and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. After retiring from Plantation Foods, she spent her time spoiling her grandchildren as much as possible. She loved to work outside in the flowerbeds and in the yard.

Rosario was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Arrollo; parents, Martina and Jose Avendaño; and siblings, Emilia Avendaño, Clauvio Avendaño, Pedro Avendaño, Miguel Avendaño, Julia Avendaño, Braulio Avendaño, and Ruben Avendaño.
