Raquel Palomares, 75, was born in Mexico on February 21,1951, made her way to the U.S. after a while. She lived the majority of her life in Texas (between McAllen & Waco). She peacefully passed away on June 15, 2026 surrounded by her family, who loved her very much. She will forever live in our hearts.
Raquel was a homemaker and devoted her time and passion to raising her family. You could always find a good homemade meal at her house with rice, beans & home-made tortillas, she was a great cook. She Loved roses and you could always find her wearing her favorite red lipstick and beautiful pink blush with a flower in her hair. Raquel always stood out in her matching outfits, oh how that woman could dress! Her Laugh and spontaneous character will be dearly missed. The conversations she would have were always something we would look forward to, especially when she had updated chisme. Raquel was preceded in death by her mother, Ramoncita Cisneros and grandsons, Roy Garcia, III. and King Fuentes.
She is survived by her ten children: Ruben Fuentes, Raquel Perez, Rosalinda Fuentes, Romelia Galindo, Rosvel Fuentes, Roody Fuentes, Ricardo Fuentes, Rooandy Fuentes, Roorayma Pena, and Roodwalysmyn Fuentes. She had 39 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. Raquel had a very big family; her legacy will live on, and her family will continue to grow.
