Born November 21, 1968, in Waco, Texas, Paul David Garcia, Sr., passed away on February 2, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones.
Paul was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend whose presence filled every room with laughter. He married the love of his life, Laura E. Suarez, with whom he shared a deep and enduring partnership. Together, they built a life rooted in family and faith. He was a proud father to his sons, Paul David Garcia, Jr., and Andrew Garcia.
Known for his kindness and sense of humor, Paul spent many years working as a contractor and took great pride in his work. Outside of work, he enjoyed fishing, cooking, sports, and music, but most of all, he treasured time spent with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Laura E. Suarez; his sons, Paul David Garcia, Jr., and wife Ashley, and Andrew Garcia; his mother, Irene Garcia; his father, Mike Garcia, who lovingly adopted him; and his biological father, Paul Arocha; his sisters, Carmen Walker and husband Paris, Christina McKee, and Crystal Rodriguez and husband Nick; his brother, Dennis Arocha and wife Lindy; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
Paul David’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. He will be remembered for his gentleness, wisdom, and unwavering care, and he will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held on February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Tierra De Bendición Church, 3404 Speight Avenue, Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 South 5th Street, Waco, Texas.
Following the burial, family and friends are warmly invited to return to Tierra De Bendición Church for a time of food and fellowship. Those who would like to bring a dish to share in support of the family are welcome to do so.

Honorary Pallbearers: Carlos Arocha and Nick Rodriguez.
