Omar Bengochea, Sr.

Omar Bengochea was born January 25, 1969 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. His parents were Maria Lina Ayala and Radames Bengochea.

Omar went to be with our Lord peacefully on September 7, 2025 surrounded by family.

Omar was a father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Omar is survived by his sons, Omar Jr. and John Paul; granddaughter, Anaya; brother, Martin Vazquez; and sister, Nancy Gutierrez.

He loved the game of pool and was very good at playing and teaching others. He enjoyed the game of baseball, especially if his boys were playing.

He will be joining his mother Maria, brother Elmon, and son Nickolas in Heaven.

Please join us in the celebration of his life followed by a gathering at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2621 Bagby Ave in Waco. All are invited.
