Martha Lou Suarez

Martha Lou Suarez was born on January 30, 1946, in Abbott, Texas, to Domasio and Gabriella O. Ramirez. Martha passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Ascension Providence Hospital with her loved ones by her side.

Martha was a hard worker from a young age. She worked at various sewing factories, and later in life, she spent several years at Rittenhouse Paper Company, from which she retired. When she was able to drive, she enjoyed eating out and shopping with her sisters, Chaya and Susie. Wherever they went together, they were lovingly referred to as the "Golden Girls." She also enjoyed cooking with her son, Rudy. Martha loved watching her western shows and movies, as well as spending time with her grandchildren and family. She truly cherished receiving visits from her nieces and nephews, whom she loved so much.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Rudy G. Suarez; and her brothers, Tony, John, Manuel, Pete, and Gilbert Ramirez.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Suarez, Michelle S. Cook and her husband JD, and Candice Suarez and her husband Marc Fajardo; her grandchildren, Nancy C. Macias Hall and husband Mike, Anyssa Mariah Suarez and husband Joe Molano, Nicoletti Ramos, Alexis Suarez, Zach Suarez, Marc Angelo Fajardo, Rebeca Michele Fajardo, Kelz Suarez and wife Angela C., Amani M. Suarez, Faith M. Cook, and John David Cook (Baby Boy); her great-grandchildren, Dasia Hall, Aadin Hall, Bentley Salinas, Rhory, Nola, and Sylvie Hall, Cerenity, Kobe, Kyro, and Karter Suarez, Moses Molano, Zahra J. Molano, and Zuli and KJ Suarez; her sisters, Cecilia Martinez, Susie Ramos, and Vicky Smith; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and many special friends whom she loved so much.

The family wishes to thank all who have prayed, supported, and comforted them, not just during this time but throughout the years. A special thank you and appreciation goes to the Providence ICU Unit.
