Martha Neumann Patterson, after a brief battle with cancer, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on October 21, 2025.
Born April 24, 1942 in Marlin Texas, to Seveas and Hermina Beltran, she was the oldest of six. In life, she was a loving wife, sister, aunt, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed life and loved a great many things... sunflowers, a green lawn, humming birds, watching her son play baseball, ice cream, trips to Vegas with her sisters, weird things in the sky, margaritas, dancing, the Jazz Festival, old R&B, the Blues, soul music, and her favorite band, "The Neumanns Forreal".
She did NOT like Bigfoot, lizards, cooking, or squirrels that stole from her birdfeeders.
Most of all she loved FAMILY... immediate, distant, extended, and friends that became family.
But her pride and joy were ‘the kids’, which included her son, three grand-kids, and one great-grand-baby, for whom she would give or do ANYTHING.
Left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband, Gene Patterson; her beloved son, Don Neumann (Melissa); three cherished grandchildren, Taylor Neumann (Kiersten), Zac Neumann (Carrie), and Lane Neumann; a precious great-granddaughter, Lennon Neumann; two brothers, Seveas Beltran (Virginia) and Jake Beltran (Jan); and a multitude of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Mimi will be remembered for her faith, her sweet spirit, her servant's heart, but mostly for her love. She loved greatly, freely, without ceasing, and with no expectation of anything in return. She was a beautiful example of how our Heavenly Father loves us.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her because of the love she gave, and the love she leaves behind.
