Marian Sanders

Marian Arlene Sanders, 59, of Elm Mott, passed away peacefully, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday, May 2 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Shane Mayberry officiating. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. prior to the service, at the funeral home.

Marian was born August 22, 1949 in West Palm Beach, Florida to James Price and Essie Gay Price. She was a graduate of Connally High School and was a member of the Elm Mott United Methodist Church. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marian is survived by her husband of 41 years, Carl Sanders of Elm Mott; son, Gary Sanders of Waco; daughters, Carla Lynch, April Sanders and Amy Sanders all of Houston; sister, Julie Price; brothers, Jimmy Price and his wife, Judy and J. B. Price and his wife, Liz; grandchildren; Chance Richards and Hope and Ethan Sanders.
