María A. Iruegas

Maria Ana Ramirez de Iruegas, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 23, 2025 surrounded by her loving family. Services will be on Tuesday July 29, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. C. Benjamin Magnaye officiating.

Maria was born on July 26, 1939 in Villa Hidalgo, Coahuila Mexico to Guadalupe Ramirez. She was better known as Ana. She was the best wife a man could ever ask for, an amazing and loving Mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend.

She married the love of her life, Crescencio Iruegas on January 28,1957, a loving marriage that lasted 67 years when her husband passed away on March11, 2024. She loved spending time with her family very much. She loved cooking and caring for her plants. But cooking was her passion, if you walked into her home she was going to cook for you. Whether you were hungry or not. Everyone loved her refried beans, tortillas, eggs with beans and her homemade salsa. She enjoyed watching her plants grow and the flowers blossom.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Guadalupe Ramirez; uncle, Nicolas Ramirez; husband, Crescencio Iruegas; daughter, Maria A. Aguilar; sisters, Andrea Ramirez and Armandina Avila; brother, Alfonso Ramirez; and grandson, Mario Olvera, Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Antonio Ramirez; sons, Juan Yruegas and wife Esmeralda, Joe Iruegas, and Crescencio Iruegas, Jr. and wife Iris; and daughters, Josie Olvera and husband Mario, Ana Iruegas and husband Jamie, and Norma Iruegas and husband Rolando; She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

María Ana Ramírez de Iruegas, de 85 años, falleció pacíficamente el miércoles 23 de julio de 2025 rodeada de su amorosa familia. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo el martes 29 de julio de 2025 a las 6:00 pm en la capilla de la Funeraria OakCrest, oficiado por el reverendo C. Benjamín Magnaye.

María nació el 26 de Julio de 1939 en Villa Hidalgo, Coahuila, México, hija de Guadalupe Ramírez. Era mejor conocida como Ana. Fue la mejor esposa que un hombre podría desear: una madre, abuela, bisabuela, tatarabuela, hija, hermana y amiga mas increíble y amorosa.

Se casó con el amor de su vida, Crescencio Iruegas, el 28 de Enero de 1957, un matrimonio amoroso que duró 67 años hasta que su esposo falleció el 11 de Marzo de 2024. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia. Le encantaba cocinar y cuidar sus plantas. Pero cocinar era su pasión; si entrabas a su casa, ella cocinaba para ti, tuvieras hambre o no. A todos les encantaban sus frijoles refritos, tortillas, huevos con frijoles y su salsa casera. Disfrutaba viendo crecer sus plantas y florecer las flores.

Le precedieron en la muerte su madre, Guadalupe Ramírez; su tío, Nicolás Ramírez; su esposo, Crescencio Iruegas; su hija, María A. Aguilar; sus hermanas, Andrea Ramírez y Armandina Ávila; su hermano, Alfonso Ramírez; y su nieto, Mario Olvera, Jr.

Le sobreviven su hermano, Antonio Ramírez; sus hijos, Juan Yruegas y su esposa Esmeralda, Joe Iruegas, y Crescencio Iruegas, Jr. y su esposa Iris; y sus hijas, Josie Olvera y su esposo Mario, Ana Iruegas y su esposo Jamie, y Norma Iruegas y su esposo Rolando. También le sobreviven muchos nietos, bisnietos, tataranietos, sobrinos y sobrinas.
