Manuel Martínez Vásquez

Manuel Martínez Vásquez, age 73 of Waco, Texas, known as “Honey”, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025. Manuel was born in Waco, Texas to Julian R. and Petra (Martínez) Vásquez.

Manuel was a loving son, brother, father, and grandfather. He worked very hard to support his family and always tried to provide as best as he could for them. He enjoyed sports on television, especially Dallas Cowboys Sundays and when they played on Mondays and Thursdays as well.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Manuel Vásquez, Jr.; granddaughter, Leticia Marie Vásquez; and siblings, Richard Ramírez, Albert Ramírez, Antonia Armstrong, Leonard Lenora, Paul Vásquez, Edward Vásquez, Jessie Vásquez, and Rose Vásquez.

Manuel is survived by his daughters, Janie (Juana) Vásquez Vázquez and husband, Sergio Lopez Vázquez and Rita Vásquez of California; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and siblings, Carmen Ramírez, Joe M. Ramírez, and Raymond Vásquez.
