Louis Mccrary
Louis Carroll (Buz) McCrary, 51, of Waco, died Tuesday, January 27, 2004, after a short battle with cancer.
Services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Ernie Christie officiating.
Visitation with the family will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
Louis was born January 19, 1953. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and working with his hands.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Jack McCrary; grandparents, Chester and Garnette McCrary, and Louis and Lou Goodwin; Frieda and Johnnie Scott.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara; children, Carolyn Vickery and husband Clay, Alesha Sturdivant-Pena and husband James, Randy Sturdivant and wife Becky; mother; two brothers; sister; father, Jack C. McCrary and wife Marcile; aunts, June Cox and husband Glenn, and Linda McCaskill and husband Richard; sister in laws, Carolyn Hopkins and Joy Strickland; three granddaughters and five grandsons, and numerous other relatives and friends.
The family wishes to thank everyone for their prayers during Buz's illness.
