Lorene Rhodes
Lorene Rhodes, 81, of Waco, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2009, at a local care center.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, 2009 at Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Ivan Ker officiating.
Burial will follow at Rosenthal Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Lorene was born November 6, 1927 in Waco to Frank Parrott and Maggie Harwell Parrott. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.
Lorene is survived by her sons, Ronnie Coats and wife, Sharon and Tom Shilling and wife, Carolynn all of Waco; grand-daughters, Chriss Coats of New York City, Lori Coats and Amy and Ashley Shilling, all of Waco; great-grandson, Matthew Douglas; great-grand-daughters, Macey and Amity Isebella; and sister, Frances Scott of Waco.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Don Hyde, Donnie Hyde, Jimmy Hyde, Wayne Hyde, James Scott and Gary Taylor.
