Kerry Ann Pabian

Kerry Pabian, of Hewitt, Texas, passed away on November 18, 2025 at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center after a long battle with end-stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). While there will be no services held, as part of her last wishes, the family would love for everyone who knew and loved her to wear pink in her memory.

Kerry was born on July 30, 1964, in Birmingham, Michigan to Ernest Bullock and Betty Nolen. She graduated from Waterford Township High School. During her twenties, Kerry attended nursing school, but shortly after moved forward from this pursuit and accepted a job in administration at TLC in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Kerry met the love of her life, Dennis Pabian, while living in Chattanooga. The two married on August 19, 1995, and began their journey of travel during Dennis’ service in the United States Army. They later welcomed their first and only child, Stephanie, together later on November 28, 1996.

Shortly after her daughter began kindergarten in 2002, Kerry took a job at JoAnn Fabrics, and worked there until December of 2013 when her health took a turn. During her life, she went through both breast and lung cancer, both of which were successfully treated.

In her free time, Kerry enjoyed sewing, being active in her online Court TV and Portland Leather Goods community groups, and being present with her husband, daughter and family pets. She also loved watching football with her husband. Her favorite teams were Alabama Crimson Tide and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Kerry was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother and cousin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Nolen and Ernest Bullock; sisters, Donna Burr and Deborah Kenyon; and brother, Phillip “Randy” Ferry. Survivors include her beloved husband, Dennis Pabian, and daughter, Stephanie Pabian.

The family deeply appreciates the wonderful services that medical staff provided at Baylor Scott and White Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit to ensure that Kerry was as comfortable as possible in her final days of life, as well as all of the other local medical professionals who provided the best care for her as she battled with her health.
