Julie Virginia Martinez, 51, of Waco, Texas, passed away on July 16, 2026, at 4:24 pm following a long battle with colon cancer. Born on April 19, 1975, Julie was a longtime resident of Waco and a member of a five-generation family.

Julie found simple joys in the world around her—she loved being outdoors, appreciating wildlife, and enjoying quiet afternoons taking her sons to the park. She dedicated herself to her housekeeping and cleaning work, taking immense pride in helping keep Waco clean and welcoming.

She leaves behind her mother, Julie Terine Stevenson of Waco, TX; her three sons, Robert Scott Davidson Jr., Jeremiah Davidson, and Valentino G. Torres, all of Waco, TX; her sister, Scarlett Rose Martinez of Waco, TX; her grandparents, Julia Virginia Lockamy and Colon Lockamy of Waco, TX; niece and nephews, Scarlett Rose Eady and John Thomas Eady of Palestine, TX and Brian Rosas of Waco, TX; her great-grandnieces and great-grandnephew, Abby Dempsey, Cheyanne Stevenson, Addison Mendoza, and Jeremiah Dempsey, all of Waco, TX; her aunts, Leesa Zunk of Apache, OK, Rhonda Menottis of Waco, TX, Sheryl Copeland of Eddy, TX, and Joanne Nash Uptmore of Waco, TX; her uncles, Jeci Allen Rogers of Del City, OK, William Nash of Waco, TX, and Gary Nash of Waco, TX; as well as many first and second cousins.

Julie was reunited in death with her father, David Morin Martinez, and her uncles, Randy Perdigone, Dallas Nash, and Robert Nash.

In honor of her family's wishes, no formal services will be held. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
