Jeffrey Michael Ocasio, 41, of Waco, Texas, passed away surrounded by loved ones on December 12, 2025. Visitation will be at 5pm, Saturday, January 3rd at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard, Waco, Texas. Service will be 2pm, Sunday, January 4th at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Jeffrey was born on September 28, 1984, in Waco, to Jose Ocasio and Cynthia Reyes. He attended Waco High School where he graduated with honors. In 2011, while working at C&M Golf and Grounds, he accepted a job promotion which led to him relocating to San Antonio, Texas as the General Manager. In 2019, Jeffrey began working at Cox Manufacturing in San Antonio, until his disability prevented him from working. He loved his coworkers and enjoyed his work.
Jeffrey grew up loving the Dallas Cowboys, Michael Jordan and Chicago Bulls, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Longhorns, and the Texas Rangers. Jeffrey joined the Boys Scouts at the age of 7 and remained a member until middle school. He also played on Southern Little League teams for years until he began playing for his high school.
In 2004, he met the love of his life, Adriana, of Waco. They married in July 2011 in San Antonio. He was the father of 4 children, who were his world. Jeffrey was a loving and present father, husband, son, great friend, and huge jokester. He loved telling his dad jokes and spending time with family and friends. He had a love for music and movies. He would often randomly quote movies.
Jeffrey got to enjoy and share his love for baseball with his kids. He loved his years on the field coaching his “kids” and watching his 3 older children play baseball and softball. He was thrilled when he got to play with close friends on a softball team.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his older brother, Joseph Ocasio; grandparents, Vincent and Anita Reyes; and his fur babies, Rocky and Sadie Ocasio.
He leaves behind his beloved wife, Adriana; children, Ezequiel Ocasio, Jeremiah Ocasio, Mileena Ocasio, and Vincent Ocasio; mother, Cynthia Reyes; father, Jose Ocasio; and sister, Ciara Ocasio. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends, as well as his grand fur babies, Trigger, Zeus, Margo, and Pearl.
Honorary pallbearers are Jeremy Ybarra, Jesse Ybarra, Manuel Ramirez, Johnny Mendoza, Ciara Ocasio, Lesley (Lester) Elliot, Trea Monrial, and James Ritchie (JR).
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jeffrey’s PCP, Roshan Patel and the team at Ascension Providence at Lakeshore, his dialysis team at Fresenius Kidney Care Brazos, and the ICU doctor and nurses that cared for Jeffrey at Ascension Providence Hospital. The medical and personal relationships formed made a huge impact, which we are eternally grateful for.
