Jeanette Polonsky, 78, of Waco, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2012 at her residence. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 2, 2012 at Meier Settlement Cemetery with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
Jeanette was born August 15, 1933 in Blum to Thomas "Tommy" Lowrance and Avis Moulder Lowrance. She spent 44 years in the trucking industry and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 745. On November 30, 2000, Rev. Curtis Holland united Jeanette and Allen Polonsky in marriage.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Joyce Johnson.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Allen Polonsky of Waco; her children, Carol Darling of Cedar Creek Lake, Jan Taylor of Mabank, Carol Ancelet of Waco, Allen Polonsky, Jr. of Port Lavaca, Rhonda Davis of Edna; six grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jeanette's memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society or the Arthritis Foundation.
