Jackie Malone Anderson

Jackie Lynn Malone Anderson, 88, of Lorena passed into the arms of her Lord and Savior and all those that went before her on March 7, 2023, at home with her daughters after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Graveside services will be Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 AM at Richland Cemetery in Mertens, Texas. The Rev. Jim Daniels will officiate.

Jackie was born August 10, 1934, in Frost, Texas to Victor and Willa Mills Malone. She attended school in Frost graduating in 1952. Jackie married local boy Billy Ray Anderson in Durant, Oklahoma on September 5, 1953, a marriage that lasted almost 69 years. Jackie spent most of her years as a wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren’s activities. She was a devoted member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Robinson, Texas, and loved her Lord.

Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, eight siblings, and husband Billy.

Remaining to cherish her memory are daughters, Darla Oliver and husband Robert, Donna Zettler, and husband Lamar; grandchildren, Eric Lux and wife DeAnna, Lindsey Geddie and husband Justin, Lauren Moorhead and husband Chad, Kaitlyn Ward and husband Evan and Austin Oliver and wife Cheyenne; five great-grandsons and another great-grandson on the way; only surviving sister, Jerry Sue Malone; numerous nieces and nephews and special childhood friend, Thelma Wardlaw.
