Gloria Martinez Guerrero

Gloria Martinez Guerrero of Waco, Texas passed away July 27, 2026 at the age of 82 surrounded by her loving family. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 1st 2026 from 6 to 8 PM at Grace Temple Baptist Church in Waco.

Gloria was born on September 16, 1943 in Robstown, Texas to Rodolfo and Bonifacia (Jaramillo) Martinez. She graduated from Robstown High School. She met the love of her life, Victor Guerrero, Jr. at a dance while in her teens and they married on December 28, 1966. They had two sons, Victor III and Albert and a daughter, Kris.

Gloria loved to dance, listen to Tejano music, take her morning walks, and spend time with friends and family. Gloria and Victor won many awards and trophies for their Tejano dancing skills throughout Texas. She was a dedicated homemaker and loved to cook for her family and friends.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Victor Jr.; her son, Victor III Guerrero; her brothers, Rodolfo Jr., Hector, and Rolando Martinez; and sister, Roseanna Martinez Guajardo.

Gloria is survived by her son, Albert Guerrero, USAF Ret. and husband Joe Jordan of Washington D.C; daughter, Kris Milam and fiancé Thomas Rogalla, Jr. of China Spring; son-in-law, Kenneth Milam and daughter-in-law Deyanira "Di" Guerrero; grandchildren, Vic, USAF Ret. and Joshua Milam, Victor IV, Alyssa, Daisy, and Christopher Guerrero; brothers, Humberto Martinez and Raul Martinez and wife Abby of San Antonio; and sister-in-law, Angie Guerrero and family of Alice.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the family, friends, and the staff of Gentle Transitions Hospice, who visited and loved on Gloria and her family during her final days.
