Fred Guardiola

Fred Guardiola passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026 in his sleep.

He was born on June 17, 1970 in Boulder City, Louisiana to Mary Ellen Rodriguez and Fred Guardiola, Sr. Fred grew up in Waco, Texas and graduated from University High School. In 1991 he met the love of his life (wife) Clara Annette Shelton. Fred worked as a chef his entire life.

Fred was preceded in death by his mom, Mary Ellen Guardiola; his brother, David Mata; and his daughter, Teressa Cantu. Fred leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 35 years, Clara Annette Shelton; his father, Fred Guardiola, Sr. (Wife); his brothers, Richard Guardiola and Anthony Guardiola; one sister, Betty Jean Guardiola; his children, Laura Moreno, Marcus Shelton, Ashley Shelton, Natishia Shelton, and Corey Shelton; his mother-in-law, Clara Bell Shelton; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, and one great granddaughter.
