Frank D. Lopez

Frank (Poncho) Lopez, 69, passed away on August 22, 2025.

Frank was born to Nasario and Lydia Duran Lopez in Calvert, Texas. He was proud to be a University Trojan.

He was a painter for many years. Frank loved the Lord very much. There is no doubt he is in Heaven. He knew the answer to anything in the Bible you asked.

It was in 2000 that he and Linda met and began their journey in life. It was a union that brought 2 families together for 25 years and for Frank and Linda, eternity.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, Nasario and Lydia Lopez; sister, Tina; brother, Victor; and bonus daughter, Jennifer.

He is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Frankie (Stevie Ray), Noah (Courtney), Adam, bonus daughter Rachel (Beto), Dallas (Andrea) and Maggie (Matt); sisters, Berta Salinas (Johnny), Rosie Castro, Rosalee Bravo, Janie Contreras, Mary Ann Ojeda, and Melicia (Bob) Mendenhall; brother, Tomas; grandchildren, Alexandria, Isabella, Joseph, Dylan, Violet, Arya, Cooper, Cole, Erynn, Jayla, Graysen, Chloe, Mariah, and bonus children and grandchildren; father and mother in law, Earl and Beverly; brother-in-law, Brad (Andrea); sister-in-law, Debbie Alvarado; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
