Francisco Olvera Ramirez, 21, of Waco, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025 in Temple, Texas. Francisco was born on August 1, 2004 to Cosme and Raquel Olvera in Waco, Texas. Francisco attended University High School and then went to work with his father in the landscaping business. After two years, he became a lineman working on powerlines throughout the United States.
Francisco met the love of his life at school and after a courtship, Aracely Chávez and Francisco were married on November 16, 2020. They have two children: Kataleya Olvera Chávez and Francisco Olvera Chávez, Jr. He enjoyed playing soccer. He also loved to hunt but most of all being with his beautiful family.
A visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2025 at OakCrest Funeral Home with the Holy Rosary recited at 5:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00am on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Rev. Benjamin Magnaye as Celebrant, burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco, Texas.
Francisco was a genuine and hardworking man whose dedication shined most in his role as a father. He was committed, loving, and always put his family first. He was caring, supportive, and dependable, consistently showing up for those he loved. Known for his helpful nature and steady work ethic, Francisco is the kind of person others could always count on; he was dependable, sincere, and wholeheartedly devoted to the people around him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandparents.
Francisco is survived by his loving wife, Aracely Olvera Chávez; children, Kataleya Olvera Chávez and Francisco Olvera Chávez, Jr.; parents, Cosme Olvera and Raquel Olvera; siblings, Cristian, Edgar, Karen, Marisol, Janeli, and Esli; In-Laws, Ismael Chávez Laguna and Elvia Chávez; sisters-in-law, María, Mariah, Karla, Anahi, Erica, Alejandra, Klarrissa, Sarah, and Aliyanah; maternal grandmother, Apolonia Camacho; paternal grandparents, Gabriel Olvera and Ambrosía Camacho; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The pallbearers are Ismael Chávez Laguna, Raúl Jiménez, Héctor Monroy, Carlos Chávez, Sergio Arroyo, Obbie Mora, Juan Rojas, Aron Chávez, Arturo Ubaldo, and Isaac De León.
