Elsie Mae (Price) Wilson, age 89, a longtime resident of Waco, Texas passed away in Tyler on September 9,2012. Funeral services will be held at Oak Crest Funeral Home in Waco on Thursday September 13,2012 at 2 PM with the Reverend Stanley Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at Oak Crest Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wilson was born on July 7, 1923 in Walnut Springs, Texas to the late Otis and Bertie Price. The family moved to Falls County in 1929 and lived in Satin. She graduated from Chilton High School in 1941. She worked for Johnny Stewart Wildlife Calls in Waco and retired in 1995. She was an active member of Edgefield Baptist Church and later at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Waco. After moving to Tyler in 2008, she resided at the
Hamptons and attended The Woods Baptist Church. She had many close friends at the Hamptons.

She loved the Lord and loved people. She was especially known for her humor and many stories with which she would entertain her many friends and family. She is preceded in death by her husband Ferrell H. Wilson, her parents, and an infant brother.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and wife Kaye of Whitehouse, Texas and Mark and wife Mary of Brandon, Texas. 5 Grandchildren, 9 Great-Grandchildren, and many relatives and friends.

Pall Bearers will be: Steve Williams, David Williams, Jim Williams, Gerald Stewart, David Waller, Tommy Thompson, Jason Wilson, and Andre Butler.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gideon's International for Bible distribution, or to a local Animal Humane Society.
