Dorothy Ben (Tanner) Bridger, 87, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. Graveside Services will be 10 a.m., Monday, January 12, 2015 at Rosemound Cemetery with Bishop William "Billy" Bridger, Jr. officiating.

Dorothy was born August 1, 1927 to L.J. and Barbara (Green) Tanner in Waco, TX. She married Billy Bridger Febuary 18, 1948 and together raised 3 sons. Dorothy was a long time member of Western Heights Baptist Church. She enjoyed weekly lunches at La Fiesta, bowling, and visiting with friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Bridger; and brother, L.J. “Sonny” Tanner, Jr.

She is survived by her sons, Barry Bridger and wife, Ellen, Billy Bridger and wife, Carol, Benny Bridger and wife, Marcie; grandchildren, DeeAnn Bridger, Christopher Bridger, Stephen Bridger, Ryan Bridger, and Sarah Bridger Orme, Tanner Bridger, Mathew Bridger, Briana Bridger, and 7 great-grandchildren.
