Doreen Cummins

Doreen June Cummins, of Robinson, was called home to her Lord and Savior Monday, March 25, 2013. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013 at Oakwood Cemetery conducted by Reggie Blake and Don Childress. Visitation with her family will be 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Doreen was born to Oral and Gladys McLain on June 17, 1931 in LaJunta, Colorado. She was married to Robert L. Clark in 1950 and they had three children, Bonnie June, David Lee and Lorene Faye. In 1978, she married Joseph L. Cummins.

Doreen was a devoted wife and mother. Her life was about loving and caring for her family. She was a compassionate and giving person. She loved animals, the mountains, camping, doll collecting and genealogy. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were a source of great joy and pride for her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Cummins; her parents; brothers, Willis and Melvin; and daughter-in-law, Shelley Clark.

Doreen is survived by daughter, Bonnie Garrett and husband, Don; son, David Clark; daughter, Lorene Notgrass and husband, Ned; grandchildren, Amber Dunacusky, Lisa Laminack, Atina Turrubiartez, Matthew Garrett and Keith Notgrass; and 13 great grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Garrett, Keith Notgrass, Judd Laminack, Joel Dunacusky, Frank Turrubiartez and Carlos Turrubiartez.
