October 19, 1934 – November 13, 2014

Don R. Doss, 80, of Hewitt, passed away Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Holland officiating. Burial will follow at the China Spring Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 - 5 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Don was born in Mosheim, Tx. to Harold and Oma Doss. He served in the U.S. Air Force during Korea. Don was a fire protection specialist for the National Sprinkler Association for many years. He especially enjoyed camping and fishing with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; step-daughters, Becky Murphy and Donna Polston; and granddaughter, Tina Dulock.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Doss; daughters, Donna Doss, Kathy Green, and Rhonda Crawford and husband, Randy; son, James Reynolds and wife, Roberta; grandchildren, Miranda Rodriguez and husband, Gus, Chris Doss, Kaylee Clinage, Ricky Cooper and wife, Natalie, John Green and wife, Stormie, Melissa Polston, Jared Green and wife, Mary; and several great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be John Green, Jared Green and Ricky Cooper, Gus Rodriguez, Eric Rodriguez, and James Harris.
