Dixie Lou Wilson

Dixie Lou Wilson, age 94, passed away on August 7, 2025 peacefully in Waco, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled for 10 A.M., Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at Waco Memorial Park. Service to follow with Dr. Craig Klempnauer officiating at the graveside.

She was born on August 29, 1930 in Hill County to Tom and Mary Rose. Dixie attended and graduated high school there in Hill County. Following high school, she moved to Waco and worked for Owens-Illinois for 40 years.

Dixie met and married Harlon Wilson, they were married for many years and had two children during their marriage, Brian and Cheryl. After retirement she enjoyed the comfort of her home until 2023 when she moved to Ridgecrest Retirement and Healthcare.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harlon, and daughter, Cheryl.

Dixie is survived by her son, Brian Wilson of Waco.
