Deloris A. Bullock Carey

Deloris A. Bullock Carey, age 84, of Waco, Texas, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Deloris was born on October 8,1941 in Raymondville, Missouri to Delmar Bullock and Goldia Scott.

After completing grade school, she held many positions with various companies, including Stant manufacturing and health services.

Deloris was married to Cleo J. Carey on November 10, 1957 and they were married until his passing in 2013. She is survived by her siblings, Jim (Barb) (Florida) and Delmar (Texas) Bullock, and Linda (Sandy) Ball of Missouri; daughter, Freida (Bud) Dickens; grandchildren, Crystal (Anthony) Delvecchio, Derrall Harris, Cheryl (Michael) McCollum, Joshua (Cami) Harris, Robert (Amber) Smith, Emily Harris, Amanda Smith, Spencer Harris, Deneige (Jason) Staving, and Victoria Robert; son-in-law, James Harris; a large number of great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and with special place in her heart, family friend, Laura Guerrero.

Preceded in death by her husband, Cleo Carey; brothers, Harry and Bob Bullock; and daughters, Goldia Smith and Judy Harris.

Deloris loved to bake pies around the holidays and create special desserts that involved pudding. She enjoyed sewing, working on jigsaw puzzles, and watching the hummingbirds on her balcony. She fondly remembered growing up in Missouri and climbing her favorite tree.

She looked forward to her visits from all of the grandkids and always made sure she was stocked up on their favorite snacks.

Services will be held at River City Church at 3015 Robinson Dr, Waco, TX 76706 on Saturday, August 8, 2026 - time to be determined.
