David Sanchez

David Sanchez Sr., 71, passed away Saturday, October 07, 2023, in Waco, Texas.

A viewing will be held Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at Oakcrest Funeral Home from 6-8pm. Graveside services will be at 1pm at Oakwood Cemetery.

Mr. Sanchez was born on March 22, 1952, to Maria and Silbestre Sanchez in Waco, Texas where he lived most of his life. He was a carpenter by trade and was self-employed for years and loved by many.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Maria V Sanchez; father, Silbestre Sanchez; sister, Rachel Vargas; brothers, Raymond Sanchez Johnny Sanchez; brother-in-law, Ernest Lugo; and son, David Sanchez, Jr.

David is survived by his sons, Jose Sanchez and Richard Sanchez; daughters, Jennifer Dawson, Misti Rodriguez, Linda Najera, and Mary Ann Sanchez; sister, Lucy Lugo; brother, Andy Sanchez and wife, Jackie; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
