Cynthia "Cindy" Lomeli

Cynthia “Cindy” Lomeli, born on May 29, 1960, passed away on March 16, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life was centered around caring for those she loved most.

She is survived by her loving husband, Raul Javier Lujan; her children, Joe Colon, Ericka Martinez and her husband Antonio, Angel Colon, Anthony Silva and his wife Erica, Leticia Maldonado and her husband Juan, Alicia Bolden and her husband Jamell, and Adrian Rodriguez; and her sister, Christina Longoria.

Her love continues through her many grandchildren: Miguel Colon, Julian Martinez and Jocelyn Torres, Jayden Martinez and Alie Amaro, Jordan Martinez, Anzia and Zakiya Colon, Leilani, Lilah, Loreli and Anthony Silva Jr., Joshua, Josiah and Jamarie Maldonado, and Jazlynn and Julissa McCreary.

She was also blessed with great-granddaughters, Mila and Alaia Martinez, who brought her immense joy.

Cindy will also be lovingly remembered by her cherished companion, Ellie, her dog daughter.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Almanza Silva; her mother, Betty Silva; and her sisters, Gloria and Rosemary Silva.

Cindy was the heart of her family - a source of strength, warmth, and unconditional love. She loved to dance, cook, and have fun, and she was always the life of the party—bringing laughter, energy, and joy wherever she went. She found her greatest happiness in being surrounded by her children and grandchildren, creating memories, and offering support and guidance to all who needed it.

Visitation will be held at OakCrest Funeral Home in Waco, Texas on March 18, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.

A funeral service will be held on March 19, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with the Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Waco, Texas. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched, the family she raised, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
