Cleo I. Schacherbauer, 90, of Lorena passed away Friday, June 3rd at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside services will be 10am, Tuesday, June 7th at Oakwood cemetery with Pastor Louis Haak to officiate. There will be an open visitation from 8am to 5pm on Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Cleo was born on February 26, 1921 in Spring Valley, WI to Omer and Alma (West) Rhoades. She served in the U.S. Army from 1943 to 1945, enjoyed cooking, sewing, reading, gardening, playing cards, traveling, loved the Arizona Diamondbacks and spending time with family. Cleo was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, whom was loved by all.
Cleo is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Harry F. Schacherbauer of Lorena; son Ron Schacherbauer of Phoenix, AZ; daughters, Patsy Sowers and husband, Ron of Great Falls, MT and Janet Brown and husband, Michael of Lorena; brother, Harry Krumnie of Wisconsin; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer, David, Derek, Amy and Stephanie; 4 great-grandchildren, Seth, Paige, David and Jun.
