Carolyn Kay Jacobs, 60, of McGregor passed away Wednesday. Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Hillsboro. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home. The Rev. C.M. Huff will officiate.
Carolyn was born in Gatesville, and was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her father, Freddie Weir; daughter, Carol Ann Jacobs; and brother, Terry Weir.
She is survived by husband, William L. Jacobs; daughter, Tammy Kay Fried and husband, Mark of Mt. Home, Idaho; son, Randall Lee Jacobs of McGregor; grandson, William M. Fried; mother, Betty Lou Crawford of Hillsboro; aunt, Modean Harrison and uncle, Barney Eary of Clifton; nieces, Kerri Weir and Shelly Kay Williams, and nephews, Jason Weir, Jimmy Brown, Kevin Williams, and Robert Qualls.
