Carol Koester

Carol Kaye Koester, age 66, passed away on November 3, 2023, in Sugarland, Texas.

Kaye was born on November 22, 1956, to Milton (Dick) and Billye Jo (Gardener) Koester. She was a caring Mother, Sister, Grandmother, and Friend to all who knew her. Kaye never missed a birthday of those she loved even if it meant sending a card to the far corners of the world. She loved music. Kaye was a passionate, loving and deeply devoted person who always gave far more than she could give.

Kaye was preceded in death by her parents, Dick and Jo Koester. She is survived by her fiancé, David Hogg; brothers, Keith (Phyllis) Koester and Kevin (Peggy) Koester; children, Brent (Gina) Baty, Jason Baty, and Lacey Baty; grandchildren, Aitesia Baty, Veronica Baty, Cameron Phillips, Jr.; great grandchild, Tristan Baty-Dotts; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers: Jared Koester, Grant Koester, Cameron Phillips, Jr., Adam Dudik, Johnny Erwin, and Keith Ochenbach.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00am on November 11, 2023, at Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery in Riesel, TX.

Family and friends are invited to Oakcrest Funeral home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX, for viewing between the hours of 8:00am-5:00pm on Friday, November 10, 2023.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery fund.
