Byron Townsend Eastburn

Byron "Bob" Townsend Eastburn passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 81 years old in Waco, Texas. He faced some serious medical issues in the last few years with courage, a smile, and strength. Even though a failing heart took him away from us, his loving heart left a beacon of light for all that knew him.

Bob was born in San Antonio, TX to Kathryn Gee and Byron Townsend Eastburn Sr. He shared his childhood with his sister Carol Odiorne.

Bob is survived by his lovely bride of 59 yrs, Linda Carol Eastburn. He was a proud father, grandfather and great-grandfather. His five children: Ricky Eastburn and wife Dana, Sheri Pinchback and husband Ray, Kelley Qualls and husband Darren, Gregory Eastburn and wife Misty, and Kathy Mills and husband Marc. His grandchildren: Zach and wife Lisa, Tori and husband Mike, Mallory, Cody, Cameron and wife Azaylia, Bailey and Brooke. His great-grandchild Kai, as well as many nieces and nephews.

He truly loved his family and many friends. He was known for singing karaoke, cutting a rug on the dance floor, and his yearly camping trip to Colorado.

One of Jehovah's Witnesses for many decades, Bob focused on sharing the good news of God's Kingdom to all he met. His genuine love and concern has touched so many people's lives.
