Bobbie Jean Pinto, 95, of Waco, passed away peacefully, shortly before midnight on Monday, May 5, 2025. Graveside service is set for Monday, May 12, 2025 at 11 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery in the back corner of the Masonic area of the park.

Bobbie was born in Mexia, Texas to Jessie Everett and Lula Lillian (Vosburg) Page on October 22, 1929. She married the love of her life, Charles ‘Buck’ Henry Pinto, on February 28, 1946. They were married just shy of 70 years when Charles passed away at the age of 90. They were members of the First United Methodist Church.

Bobbie was a housewife who focused on raising her two children, Charles and Sherilyn, and who later loved caring for and spoiling her three grandchildren. She was devoted to family. She loved to cook and bake. She also sewed and did embroidery by hand.

Bobbie was a member, along with her husband, of Waco chapter #7 of the Eastern Star (now McLennan Chapter 639) and served as Worthy Matron twice for that chapter. Bobbie and Charles were very active members in Eastern Star and made many friendships from their time serving.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Pinto; parents, Jessie Everett and Lula Lillian “Mama” Page; and siblings, Glacy Everett, Melton Virgil, Millard Felix, Lula Austin, and Jessie Lorrain Page.

She is survived by her children, Charles W. “Chuck” Pinto and his wife Deborah (Geigenmiller) and Sherilyn (Pinto) Nering; four grandchildren, Lisa (Pinto) Guidry and her husband AJ, Charles A. “Chuck” Pinto and his wife Colleen (Caputo), Jason W. Nering and his wife Crystal (Strickland), and Jason R. Nering and his wife Julie (Dunn); six great grandchildren, Zachary ‘Zach” Nering and his wife Kourtney, Andrew ‘Drew’ Nering, Jacob Strickland, and Rigel, Rowan, and Raeln Nering; and one great-great grandchild on the way.
