Betty Clark

Betty Pearl Clark, 81, of Waco, Texas, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Ridgecrest Retirement Center. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at the Community Center in Lone Camp, Texas with Dr. Randy Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Lone Camp.

Mrs. Clark was born February 8, 1931 in Lone Camp to Vernon Marsden and Ora Bell Jones. She married Hubert Clark on April 7, 1950 in Lone Camp. Mrs. Clark was employed by the State of Texas at the Mexia State School and retired from there in 1997.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert; her parents, Vernon and Ora Belle Marsden, and three sisters, Jewell, Juanita and Francis.

Mrs. Clark is survived by her son, Michael Clark and wife, Susie of Lorena; daughters, Gwen Harris and husband, H. C. of Axtell and Vicky Harris and husband, Walter of Lorena; grandchildren, Michele Daub and husband, John of Austin, Steve Harris of Hewitt, Jennifer Aiello and husband, Jacob of Hewitt, Jessica Clark of Lorena, Wesley Hillin and wife, Christi of China Spring and Sallie Gordon of Bosqueville and 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Greg Harris, Steve Harris, Wesley Hillin, John Daub, Michael Harris, Jacob Aiello.
