Bennie Reyes Sr., 94, passed away Sunday May 11, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at St. Frances Catholic Church followed by burial at Oakwood Cemetery.
Mr. Reyes was born in Leroy to Amado Reyes and Cresencia Lopez Reyes. He was a member of St Francis Catholic Church, he served as a Army Medic in WWII. He retired as truck driver for Central Texas Movers & Riggers.
Mr. Reyes was preceded in death by his wife, Presie , son Paul Reyes and grandson Paul Reyes Jr.
Mr. Reyes is survived by daughters, Henrietta Montoya and husband, Jesus, Julie Butt, Petra Moreno and husband, Juan; sons, Bennie Reyes Jr. and wife, Connie, and Steve Reyes; 26 grandchildren; and 50 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Juan Jimenez, Matthew Reyes, Ruben Reyes, Isaac Melendez, Ashton Johnson and Ferman Johnson. Honorary pallbearer will be Trey Brantley.
